Hi everyone. Lots has changed since our 30th. My status has gone from divorced to married and my kids have married as well. Hubby has 2 married kids and we're hoping for grandkids REAL soon! I am now working at the Boston Israel Bond office- hey, it's a paycheck. In my spare time, I love to read, travel, knit, cook, entertain, garden and spend time with family and friends. Since our 30th, I've kept in close touch with Amy Danto Hundert, Tami Goldblum Fox, Laura Kreitzer Faich and Alex Barbey. I was fortunate to celebrate with the Barbeys at Jennifer's wedding in Israel and he and Sophie joined us in Mexico for Matthew's wedding this past January. I'd love to hear from you. I'm happy to assist with planning, even though I'm out-of-town. Hopefully we'll be able to pull something off!

I love to go to the theater and movies, read great books, garden (a little), travel (whenever I can), boat, collect antiques, and play bridge. I'd love to hear from anyone who remembers me, and may even make the cross-country trip for the reunion.
What have you been doing for the past 40 years?:
I got my undergraduate degree at Cornell, and my MSW at Portland State University (in Oregon). I have worked in home health, hospice, inpatient mental health, and for the last eleven years for our county aging and disability agency. Currently I do guardianship/conservatorship work, and I love my job. I have lived in upstate New York; Portland, Oregon; Philadelphia; Pittsburgh; and now back in Oregon. My husband and I have a small vacation cabin on a tiny island in the Puget Sound, where we like to retreat whenever we can. I have two fabulous children. Jessica is an SLP (Speech and Language Pathologist) in Bellingham, Washington, has a wonderful husband, and is a homeowner. Dan just started in a PhD program in evolutionary biology at the University of Colorado.

Have been ballroom dancing since about 2004. Been playing golf, poorly, longer than that. Still running, but slower than I used to.

Graduated from SUNY at Albany in 1973 after attending Stuyvesant. (I am on this site because so many of my Van Wyck JHS friends attended Jamaica... ) I became a police officer shortly thereafter until 1978 and went to St. Johns Law School 1975-79. In 1978 I was a paralegal in the Bx DA's office and became an assistant district attorney in 1979. Went to a litigation firm in 1984 and starting drafting wills. Now, have my own firm doing estate planning, elder law, probate and trust administration, guardianships, Medicaid planning and applications and related litigation. Was married in 1973, divorced in 1988, remarried in 1991. Had twins, boy/girl in October 1980 and grandchildren in December 2007 and July 2009.

Tennis, reading, book group, and lots of aerobic exercise to stave off the inevitable.
What have you been doing for the past 40 years?:
I went to Brandeis and then London School of Economics for Graduate School in Urban and Regional Planning. Worked as a city planner in the Boston area, and then lived and worked in London for a year. Came back, married Michael Jacobson, and began working in environmental communications, eventually seguing into technical writing and marketing. I worked for 16 years for an environmental consulting firm and I'm now doing freelance and loving it. I have three sons, Ariel, aged 25 (actor/singer in NYC); Morgan, aged 21 (currently going around the world in a ship) and Ramie, aged 18, just starting at University of Pennsylvania. I live outside of Boston in an old house, which my husband and I are slowly fixing up. We've done some traveling to various European spots in the past few years and especially enjoy Italy.

Living in Florida makes it easy to be a beach person which I am. I love to shop-retail therapy. I also have 2 cats and enjoy their company. My most special time is with my grandchildren. They live in the Atlanta area, but I go up there every couple of months. I love traveling but haven't done much recently. I am an avid movie goer and basketball fan. I am also addicted to Facebook now!!! LOL

I attended the University of Miami after graduation from '69-'73. I settled in Palm Beach County in '75. I have 2 married sons. Mitch is 33 and Phil is 28. I have 3 grandchildren from my son Mitch. I have been teaching kindergarten for 27 years.
