A quick, fun flick from Larry Orchier, one of the directors of the Great-Lost-R&B-Campaign movie (which never was shown because the of the shortened assembly periods and the elimination of on-stage election entertainment).

This was taken in Central Park, during the be-in of 1969. Bruce Rothstein stars as the innocent man drawn into an international spy conspiracy,  Pauline Aberbach is the secret agent who involves him against his will, the late, great Bernie Tittman is the most expressive of spies, David Geshwind plays both a spy and an innocent victim, and there's one other friend of Bernie, Jeff I believe, who went to school with us. Filling out the cast are Irv & Barry from Francis Lewis and Stanley from Madison.  In the freeze-frame below you can see some others from JHS who were enjoying the day. Please write in if you recognize anybody.

Director's note: We ended up being followed by a writer from "Eye" magazine, but no story about student film makers ever got published. He did invite us down to the set of "Dark Shadows"

Sorry I didn't take better advantage of the be-in.
